Nominations are now open for the 2014 DH Awards, which highlights and celebrates Digital Humanities resources across the globe. Any Digital Humanities resource in any language (in one of the six categories) can be nominated, by anyone in the community. Voting for the awards is also open to the pubic, making the DH Awards truly “open access” in the spirit of Digital Humanities.
This year’s six categories are:
- Best Use of DH for Fun
- Best DH Data Visualization
- Best Exploration of DH Failure
- Best DH Blog Post or Series of Posts
- Best Use DH Public Engagement
- Best DH tool or Suite of Tools
Nominations are open until 18th January 2015, and nominations must be for projects, resources or websites that were launched, finished, updated or created in 2014. Winners do not receive any financial compensation, but do have the honor of being chosen for their excellence by the DH community.
Nominations can be submitted via the DH Awards 2014 website.
