The 23rd Conference on User Modeling, Adaptation and Personalization – UMAP – will be held at Trinity College in Dublin from the 29th June to 3rd July. This year’s theme will be “Contextualizing the World” and will highlight the importance and impact of user modeling and adaptive technologies on everyday applications. This year’s conference will also foster collaboration between the academic environment and industry, with three main tracks: Research, Experience and Industry.
Abstract submissions are now being accepted, with a deadline of 30th January 2015. The UMAP website has a detailed list of the various topics to be explored and studied at the conference. Full papers will be due on 6th February 2015. All abstracts and papers must be submitted via the EasyChair conference system, a link to which can be found on the website.
UMAP is the premier international conference for researchers and practitioners working on systems that adapt to their individual users, or to groups of users, and collect and represent information about users for this purpose. Dublin, as a city focused on innovation and cutting-edge research, offers a wonderful venue for this year’s conference.
