The deadline for submitting contributions is <strong>December 22<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year we seek to explore how digital, social and institutional infrastructures can support engaged research, and nurture generosity, participation and shared creativity in the digital arts and humanities.<br>We welcome contributions in the form of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Papers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Panels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Posters and Demos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2026 DARIAH Annual Event is planned to take place on May 26th-29th in Rome, Italy. The Coalition champions a shift from narrow, journal-based metrics towards qualitative, contextual, and transparent evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the past three years, and building on its 2023 position paper on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/archivesic.ccsd.cnrs.fr\/DARIAH\/hal-04136772v1\"><em>The Role of Research Infrastructures in the Research Assessment Reform<\/em><\/a>, DARIAH has translated the CoARA principles into tangible outcomes: from pioneering open peer review practices in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/transformations.episciences.org\/\"><em>Transformations<\/em><\/a><em>,&nbsp;<\/em>our own diamond, open-access, peer-reviewed journal, to developing assessment criteria for non-traditional research outputs in the context of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/atrium-research.eu\/\">ATRIUM<\/a>&nbsp;project.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cResearch infrastructures play a unique role in shaping a culture of responsible assessment,\u201d says Toma Tasovac, DARIAH\u2019s Director Emeritus and Strategic Advisor to the Board of Directors. \u201cWe support evaluation models that value openness, interdisciplinarity, and the real, diverse ways in which arts and humanities researchers create knowledge<em>&nbsp;and<\/em>&nbsp;contribute to research infrastructures.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The newly published Progress Report and Action Plan brings together DARIAH\u2019s achievements from 2022\u20132024 and sets out a strategic roadmap for 2025\u20132027.
