The journal is particularly interested in the use of digital tools, methods, and resources in a reproducible approach. It welcomes scientific contributions on collections of data, workflows and software analysis. For more information on the journal, access to published articles and updates on upcoming calls visit:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/transformations.episciences.org\/\">https:\/\/transformations.episciences.org<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Current Call (Now Open &#8211; Closes 30th December, 2026)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Volume III<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The third issue of <a href=\"https:\/\/transformations.episciences.org\/\">Transformations: A DARIAH Journal<\/a> will be dedicated to the 2026 Annual Event topic:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dariah.eu\/2026\/05\/19\/transformations-third-call-for-contributions-on-digital-arts-and-humanities-with-and-for-society-building-infrastructures-of-engagement\/\">Digital Arts and Humanities with and for Society:\u00a0Building Infrastructures of Engagement.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Transformations&nbsp;currently accepts three types of submissions: research articles, data papers and workflow papers.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>You can find the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dariah.eu\/2026\/05\/19\/transformations-third-call-for-contributions-on-digital-arts-and-humanities-with-and-for-society-building-infrastructures-of-engagement\/?_thumbnail_id=13979\">full call for contributions<\/a>&nbsp;on DARIAH\u2019s website.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We kindly ask you to submit your contributions to&nbsp;Transformations<strong>&nbsp;by 30th December 2026, Midnight CET<\/strong>. There will be no&nbsp; extensions. Also, please note that all submissions will undergo the journal\u2019s standard editorial and peer-review process before a publication decision is made.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In parallel, we will publish the book of abstracts from the 2026 Annual event within the<a href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/communities\/dariahannualevent2024-workflows\/records?q=&amp;l=list&amp;p=1&amp;s=10&amp;sort=newest\">\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/communities\/dariahannualevent2026-infrastructuresofengagement\/\">2026 AE Zenodo community<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Previous calls and issues<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Volume I<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Transformations: A DARIAH Journal<\/em>\u00a0is proud to announce the publication of the first set of peer-reviewed articles in its inaugural issue, dedicated to the theme of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/transformations.episciences.org\/volumes\/965\">Workflows<\/a>. The published articles highlight how diverse research projects\u2014across disciplines and methodologies\u2014are converging around a shared imperative: to make their workflows not only visible, but reusable, reflective, and open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAs the inaugural volume of&nbsp;<em>Transformations<\/em>&nbsp;proves, there is an active community of researchers in the humanities and social sciences that strives to foster a culture of workflow reusability\u201d wrote editors Anne Baillot, Fran\u00e7oise Gouzi and Toma Tasovac in their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/transformations.episciences.org\/articles\/15780\">Introduction<\/a>. \u201cThe published articles don\u2019t just describe methodologies\u2014they reflect on how to present them in a replicable way, and why this matters for scholarship at large.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Volume II<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Transformations will soon release its second volume on the theme of \u201cThe Past\u201d inspired by the 2025 DARIAH Annual Event  held in G\u00f6ttingen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Transformations: A DARIAH Journal\u00a0is a multilingual journal created in 2024 and published by the European research infrastructure\u00a0DARIAH ERIC This journal is an ongoing publication with thematic issues in Digital Humanities, humanities, social sciences, and the arts.
