DARIAH-IE is the Irish node of DARIAH<\/a><\/strong>, the pan-European Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities, a research infrastructure (ERIC) that enhances and supports digitally enabled research and teaching across the Arts and Humanities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joan Murphy<\/a> <\/strong>is the National Manager responsible for the day to day operations of DARIAH-IE, under the direction of the National Coordinator Professor Jennifer Edmond<\/strong>. DARIAH-IE is hosted by the Long Room Hub, Trinity College Dublin’s Arts and Humanities Research Centre<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 4th, 2027 DARIAH-IE will be holding a national Digital Arts and Humanities event in Trinity’s Long Room Hub, in conjunction with the UK-IE Digital Humanities Association<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bursaries to DARIAH Annual Event <\/strong>The successful recipients of the DARIAH-IE 2026 ECR Bursary were: Diaa Lagan<\/strong> (Department of Media Studies at Maynooth University and IADT), Dr Ellen Scally<\/strong> (Department of Film & Screen Media, University College Cork), Guang Yang<\/strong> (Department of Digital Arts and Humanities, University College Cork and Vicky Bouch\u00e9<\/strong> (School of Education at Trinity College Dublin). Community Engagement<\/strong> DARIAH-IE takes to the road this year to visit researchers, academics and practitioners in digitally-enabled arts and humanities around the country. Landscape Review<\/strong> – we are revisiting and revising 2022’s AHRC\/IRC-funded project Landscape of Digital Humanities in Ireland<\/a> and situating the Irish landscape in the context of European Research infrastructures, initiatives and projects<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
