Below are just some examples of the digital arts and humanities projects underway in Ireland:

Saint Patrick's Confessio

The Saint Patrick’s Confessio Hypertext Stack Project is about Patrick, patron saint of Ireland, who is an integrating figure in that he provides a sense of identity for the whole of Ireland, as well as for its constituent parts, the Republic, the North and abroad.

Landed Estates Database

The Connacht and Munster Landed Estates project, funded by the Irish Council for Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences and the Programme for Research in Third Level Institutions respectively, undertook the research for, and the publication of, a comprehensive and integrated resource guide to landed estates and historic houses in Connacht and Munster, c. 1700-1914.

Battle of Mount Street Bridge

Contested Memories: The Battle of Mount Street Bridge project employs spatial and temporal methods to create a virtual world visualisation of the events of The Battle of Mount Street Bridge.

CENDARI

CENDARI is an acronym for the Collaborative European Digital Archive Infrastructure, a 4-year, European Commission-funded project, which aims to integrate digital archives and resources for medieval and World War One history.

1641 Depositions

The 1641 Depositions (Trinity College Dublin, MSS 809-841) are witness testimonies mainly by Protestants, but also by some Catholics, from all social backgrounds, concerning their experiences of the 1641 Irish rebellion.

Letters of 1916

Letters of 1916 is the first public humanities project in Ireland: a crowdsourced digital collection of letters written in the months leading up to and after the Easter Rising.
