Webinar on Wednesday, November 12 at 15:00-16:30 CET on AVOBMAT, a multilingual text & metadata mining platform for research & teaching DH.
AVOBMAT (Analysis and Visualization of Bibliographic Metadata and Texts) is a multilingual text-mining service currently available in beta on the GWDG infrastructure. It provides sample databases from the ELTeC novel and DraCor drama collections, and users can request preprocessing and uploading of their own or public datasets with configurable analysis settings. AVOBMAT offers a transparent, reproducible workflow and a wide range of analytical functions, including an N-gram viewer, topic modeling, Named Entity Recognition and Linking, Keyword-in-Context, Part-of-Speech tagging, as well as measures of lexical diversity and network analysis.
